Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects between 8-13% of individuals assigned female at birth, yet it remains widely misunderstood, undiagnosed, and often mismanaged. This presentation will explore what PCOS is, who is at risk, and why this population faces higher risks for both diabetes and disordered eating. Attendees will gain insight into evidence-based strategies for reducing these risks, including medication, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions. Emphasizing weight-inclusive, person-centered care, this session equips healthcare professionals with practical tools to provide compassionate, effective support for individuals with PCOS.
